Do you know what is the most expensive ingredient in crockpot recipes? Meat! (Trust me. I’ve made hundreds or thousands of meals and have analyzed the costs.) That’s why when I saw epic meat sales at the grocery store last weekend I knew I had to stock up.
All-natural chicken breasts were buy one, get one free at the grocery store last weekend, so I bought 10 packages and turned it into crockpot freezer meals! It only took me an hour to make the meals and they’re healthy and delicious. (We tried all of the recipes before.) If you want to do the same, I’m sharing my recipes and shopping list for free below. Enjoy, Friends!
We use our crockpot all year long, so I decided to get started on meal ideas for July. I’m a bit of an organization freak, so I went ahead and compiled the recipes and full shopping list in a pdf file and shared it below. I even went ahead and created a calendar so I know exactly when to cook each one. Now I can spend the month at the pool with my kids and not stress over what’s for dinner!
If you’re looking for a new crockpot recipe, this is it. It’s super delicious and SO EASY to make. I’m calling this recipe “sausage-stuffed mini sweet peppers,” but it should really be “the best summer crockpot recipe of all time.” Make it and you’ll love it. I promise.
We’re in all-out summer mode over here. We have a neighborhood pool and take the kids swimming every afternoon during the week. It feels so good to RELAX and let our kids play outside with their friends. I wish life could be like this year-round.
You know what helps me relax at the pool? Not having to stress about dinner. I’ve been a crockpot rockstar, and I love coming in the door to a finished, healthy meal.
This Crockpot Tuscan Chicken recipe is one that I make over and over again in my freezer meal prep sessions. I slightly change the ingredients every time I make it, but it always includes chicken, spinach, some kind of tomatoes, and seasoning. It’s so good – we love it. I realized it didn’t have a recipe post of its own though. That changes now.
