I’m so excited to share my maternity photos with you. They were taken at 32 weeks preggo by Emily Ann Photography. Emily is an on-location, natural light photographer who specializes photographing newborns and children.
Emily took my maternity photos during my second pregnancy and my second baby’s newborn photos. They turned out so beautifully that it was a no-brainer to work with Emily again this time around.
Emily also took the amazing photos of me and my family that are featured on this website’s homepage.
I know some women are self-conscious during pregnancy and avoid being photographed, but I think pregnant bellies are beautiful.
(And if you work with a talented photographer – like Emily Ann Photography - you can trust that the final images will be flattering.)
To me, pregnancy is such a special time to start getting to know your baby and celebrate your strong, intuitive body.
This pregnancy, I’ve especially enjoyed talking my daughters about their new baby brother or sister. I can’t wait to see how they act with their new baby.
Running has been an important part of this pregnancy and I wanted to make sure to document that experience as well. It almost didn’t happen because the running photos from my photo shoot were underexposed. Emily knew how important they were to me and offered to meet me another day for a few more shots.
How the heck am I still running with that belly?!? I’ve certainly slowed down since training for a half marathon during my first trimester, but it still feels good. (In a previous blog post, I shared how I prepared for a five mile race during my third trimester.)
I’m so excited that a new little one will be in our family photos soon.
Thank you, Emily, for capturing this special time in my family’s life! It’s hard to believe that our next photo session will include a newborn!!
Note: I purchased all of these digital images and asked Emily’s permission to share them on my blog. I am sharing the photos labeled with “Emily ann Photography” so everyone will know who took them.
